A Houston native, Bryan graduated from the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York befor his career took him around the world—first to the Michelin-rated Via Veneto in Barcelona, Spain, then the Union Pacific restaurant in New York, the Oriental hotels in Hong Kong and Bangkok, and Dune in the exclusive Ocean Club One & Only Resort on Paradise Island, Bahamas – before he returned to open Bank, a signature Jean-Georges Vongerichten restaurant in Hotel ICON.
In early 2007, he followed his passion for international seafood and fine wines to create REEF, the über-hip new restaurant opening in May in Midtown, with its stunning glass-enclosed wine room featuring a 15-foot steel wall housing more than 1,500 bottles.
