ana-llovera.pngAna grew up and attended University Metropolitana in Caracas and began her career at Bank America before joining Shell as a business analyst for their natural gas operations in Venezuela, where she spent the next six years. In 2007, Ana moved to Houston with Shell as an Economist, since then providing commercial support for their Exploration and Production projects based here. Within a year of arriving in Houston, Ana married fellow Venezuelan Carlos Gonzalez-Centeno and they now have a cherished seven-year-old son.

Along with her husband, Ana also owns Socialite Americas, which specializes in
providing musical talent from Central and South America for American audiences. An avid cook and runner, Ana embraces a healthy lifestyle and has been an exuberant supporter of Recipe for Success since being introduced to us by Karina Barbieri. Socialite provided live musical performances for the 2017 and 2018 Delicious Alchemy Banquets as generous inkind donations to the Foundation. Ana and Carlos are avid fans of Hope Farms.
