CHEFS IN SCHOOLS
Houston’s finest CHEFS are helping teach children and their parents how to cook healthy and delicious meals and snacks.
Starting in fall 2006 monthly classes will be presented to fourth grade students in our pilot schools, using a special Culture of Food curriculum and a uniquely designed cooking cart.
Coordinated through RfS, Chefs will also teach in after-school programs and parent-child cooking classes, and they will offer field trips to their own professional kitchens. Contact RfS to request more info.
